Rep Power: 0 | Windows XP Media Edition I've recently installed this on my computer and I have to say it is brilliant. Everything is so user-friendly. I recently bought a huge HD TV and now have my computer hooked up to that. The features are brilliant, such as being able to record TV onto your computer so easily is great.
I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Rep Power: 0 | I thought about XP ME but it doesn't do anything other hardware hasn't been doing for years, except turn my tv into a giant monitor. Did I miss something.

Rep Power: 6 | Hey Doc,
I agree. Gates will add all of two features and release it as something brand spanking new! Why didn't he add these media features to Windows from the beginning??

Rep Power: 0 | The only real difference between the standard edition and the ME edition is it looks a bit different when the computer is turned on. It is very hard to use your TV as a computer anyway because if someone else wants to watch something you can't use your PC. |

Rep Power: 3 | I personally don't want Media Edition. I can watch, record and do all of the stuff that OS does in Linux all for free. Check out MythTV.org. Very cool.
