WinXP Themes

I've seen plenty of cool DBZ themes on the net. How exactly do I get it to load onto my WinXP system? I've tried and have succeeded in changing the icons and cursor, but the Windows log on screen isn't changed. How can I change it manually?

This is much more complicated than in earlier version of Windows.

In previous releases of Windows, the login screen was a .BMP file called logo.sys. You just replaced the file. Easy.

In Windows XP, the login screen is an .SCR file that must be compatible with the capability to display usernames.

The new process is documented at How To Change the Windows Logon Screen Saver in Windows XP.
