| Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and Image Ready 3.0 Do any of you own these? Do you actually use them???
I use mine to create basic animated banners, images and gif's.
You can start with your Paint Shop program and create a few sequence images. Save these in a folder on your desktop as .bmp's; you should name them either in numerical or alphabetical order.
Open Photoshop and "3D" each image, again saving each, but this time into a second folder on your desktop; and save the images as .jpg's.
Open Image Ready and select "file", "import" and "folder as frames". Select your folder with your .jpgs in it. A box at the bottom left will show you your frames; you can select the amount of time you wish each frame to display. Click "play" to view it. When you are happy with it, you can simply click "file" and "save opimized as". Save it to your desktop. This will be an animated GIF. You are now ready to upload it to your server!!
I've made websites using Adobe also, but it is complicated and has many issues I've faced & that I gave up on it. I would love to start a thread with tips and advice on ideas to use these programs for!
