Any software to split files?

Is there any software which can split large files into small pieces and then join them again. I have a very huge file (Around 2 GB) and I have to send it to my cousin in other country. If there is any software present like I have mentioned, then please let me know. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

You could also use winrar to split it into equal parts.

Ugh... there's something about winrar I don't like. It's probably just me... seems everyone prefers it to winzip!

Hey all check filesplitter @ http://filesplitter.8m.com/
It is really cool. Very easy to use..
Just select the file (any file type no problem) and select if u want to divide into any particular number of pieces OR particular size. It divides and we get a bat file in addition to the parts. At the dest simply run the bat file and the parts are joined. One important thing is that no need to have filesplitter on the dest.
