Front Page Extensions

Can Anyone help me uploading my site using FP extensions ..

OR at least I want to know why is this error happening ?

I have FP2003 and want to publish my site sing frontpage extensions service!
I installed the front page on the main domain (using cPanel)and then tried to publish providing these information to the FP2003 program on my system (In the Remote Website Properties dialog box):
- Remote webserver type: Frontpage or sharepoint services
- Remote website location: http://imw.m-ka.net (I tried also many others like "http://www.imw.m-ka.net" , "http://imw.m-ka.net/public_html" , "http://imw.m-ka.net/home/public_html" , "http://free.m-ka.net/home/imw/public_html" and many more)
_______________________

This gave me an error saying :
'Unable to open "http://imw.m-ka.net".
Server error: Server error: FrontPage security violation.
Possible causes :

1- The web server may have not the FrontPage server extensions installed.
2- The Web server may be temporarily out of service.
3- If you are connecting through a proxy server, the proxy settings may be incorrect.
4- An error may have occured in the web server.

Hey MM,

If I understand the trouble you're having... I think within your CPanel you have to make sure that you've selected to allow/install FrontPage extensions. The icon for it is in Cpanel under Site Management Tools.

There is no text with the content "Website management tools" in my cPanel at all

My cPanel Build is : 10.8.1-RELEASE 113

And Its Theme is : Panel X v2.5.0

Hey MM,

Have you contacted your hosting company to ask if they can help you make the Frontpage extensions work??

The Cpanel version provided by my hosting company is...

cPanel version 10.8.1-RELEASE-113
cPanel Pro Version 1.0 (RC36)

Here's what mine says regarding installing the FrontPage ext. Maybe this information will shed some light...

"Warning: It is recommended that you DO NOT install FrontPage Extensions on your account unless you intend to publish your site directly from the FrontPage application.

Uninstalling the extensions from the main domain will uninstall the extensions from all subdomains and addon domains. You must have the extensions installed on the main domain before they can be installed on any subdomains or addon domains.

Warning: Installing or Uninstalling Frontpage extensions will result in the loss of all .htaccess files in your web area. Any directories you have protected with WebProtect will become unprotected until you reprotect them."
