I have always used WS-FTP Pro. Swear by it. It really set the standard back when it was introduced and it just keeps getting better.

WS-FTP standard is available for FREE download I believe and the "Pro" version is a paid upgrade. But standard has about 90% of the features as the full if memory serves.

Quick, Easy, Direct, Clean and Efficient.... It's not cofusing or complicated. Exactly what you want in an FTP program.

I went with SmartFTP. I'll give WS a try just to see the difference.

I have been use AceFTP-3 for a while now, after using smart, wsftp, and rocket for a long time, I have just stopped all others and just use ace now. I find it one of the best out there.
I like it because its compatible with winscp (sftp).

WS if free .. and Cute if paid

If You are talking about FTP Clients I would say:
I use ws ftp for free but if you can buy one .. use Cuter-FTP ..or if you have frontpage or dreamweaver this cotains a built in ftp client

I have tried a lot of programs that are FTP clients, but I seem to be faithful to an "old" program I used for years to browse my PC files. it's the well known total commander. i use it as a FTP client too since it can do this and I don't have to install yet another program to do only this

well. i actually use Internet explorers built-in ftp option. Although its slow. but i have never seen any client so user friendly. Its drag and drop features really feels im actually using the computer locally.

Ftp

I think FreshFTP or CoreFTP can run on Windows NT. I'm not sure about it though.

You can find both at Google.

Regards.

I use smartFTP. It has a good drag and drop system, that is really easy to use. It is by far the best software that I have used for FTP.

I was using ipswitch ftp but looks like this software has problems with x64 OS
so Im using smart FTp which is good, not as good as ipswitch but works pretty fine.

I generally don't use FTP clients as such.
But there is FireFox extension that does the trick.
Its called FireFtp and it works out very well for me.
