Google Gadgets

Does anyone know how to run the executable to run the google gadgets? It has an unknown file extension and I cant figure it out.

Any try Google Gadgets???

Google Gadgets have a .gg extension. This is interesting, because they are really just .zip files. Change their extension to .zip and you will be able to open them right up.

To run them properly, you need Google Desktop.

I can just change the extension from .gg to .zip?! They are not of different formats or something?

I had never heard of this before! So, can anyone here tell me how useful the programs are to you and the quality of the programs?

If the programs are pretty good, I'll download them toolbar and all. I really don't want that toolbar, so that's a factor for me too. :rolleyes: If the programs aren't great, I'm gonna leave it. Thanks!
