History's Worst Software Bugs

Thought this was quite an interesting read:
History's Worst Software Bugs - http://www.wired.com/news/technology...tml?tw=rss.TOP
Where it gives a list of the worst possible programming bugs programmers have made in chronological order.

So whenever you make the usual error in PHP causing an annoying infinite loop or a small bug in your C++ program where you misspelled a variable wrong causing the wrong output to be given. Then Just be glad it’s not a Cancer treating programming your making and the error it produced causes an over dosage of radiation to be given to the patients resulting in long term damage.

So next time you get an error be glad you got one now and not when your making a system critical application.

Wow, imagine developing software with a bug that cost someone their life?
That really puts our little web development programs into perspective, thats for sure.

There is a huge amount of responsibility in writing software both for space travel and for health services. I know I would not want that responsibility.

On the other hand, those programmers get paid VERY well
