What do you guys think of Microsoft Hotmail?

Is Hotmail the best free e-mail service out there, or is there something better?

Hotmail is the most popular free e-mail service, but I don't think it's the best.

I tried Hotmail and it was horribly painfully slow and annoying to use.

I've had no problems at all with Yahoo Mail and it is what I would recommend to you.

I have a Google Gmail account, but Gmail is kind of annoying in comparison to Yahoo Mail. And with Yahoo Mail, you don't need an invitation.

I use Hotmail alot, since its tied to my MSN account obviously.
Im using the Live beta which is alot better than the old Hotmail interface once you get used to it.

I personally dont like it or Yahoo as too much spam gets passed their filters. I love using Gmail for their spam detection but also because its fast and easy to find emails.

I've found the amount of spam in my Hotmail account has decreased dramatically over the past year, their spam filters are really so much better than they used to be.
They pick up 90% of junk and it rarely makes it into my Inbox.

i use hotmail too. i have 250MB of storage and its free. i dont think thats the regular amount but im not sure.

I use Hotmail for a long time. And Its funny that in my country using msn is an extra credit or selective users use the msn.:rolleyes:

We use to chat casual in irc and add msn for private:lol:

But maximum user use yahoo. Its really kewl but vulnarable. Anyway I like msn msg dont know why.:-D

I never use my Hotmail account for emails. The only reason I registered was because I need it for MSN Messenger.

I only have a hotmail account for msn messenger, I've got my own domains and e-mail services, I don't need free webmails.

I know its silly but i have to ask it for confirm. I m asian. Microsoft closed the room chat for asia may b u guys heard abt that. Do u Outside asia the msn room chat is available or not ???

I ave shifted to Windows Live Mail , got a nice 2 GB inbox. But problem seems to continues with MS. They have implemented too much scripts in their mail page. Its tru that using that right click option and other sorting is cool , but checking mail in hotmail from a slow connection is a curse. Hotmail is slower to me. Though they demand several layers of secured login is the reason of "a bit" slowness, But i cant find any logic ! For mail purpose [Free ofcourse !] , Yahoo surely will get my vote !

MSN Chat has been dropping countries for three years now, and will closing completely on 16 October, 2006.
