Instant Messengers

I've been avoiding these things like the plague but I think now I'm going to have get one... or two... or three?? Ugh!

So what do y'all think of these things in general and/or specifically?? Is it just another way for people to bug ya or are they excellent for networking??

I used to get on these a lot. I've had them all, but MSN is my favorite.

But now I'd rather just be left alone. It's almost more of an annoyance now lol

I use Yahoo mainly, if anything.. Video/cam/audio seems to work better for me in Yahoo than MSN. Dunno why...

I just downloaded the latest MSN beta tho (wasn't all that impressed)..

I don't really use instant messagers much but when I do I always use MSN messenger, for the simple reason it is the one that is most widely used. I think that any other company would struggle to compete.

Well, it depends on your community. I used MSN Messenger, since all of my friends are using it. Sometimes I use IRC to know more people.

I'm a little afraid of downloading all the different IMs but I want to try them! :p I might bog down my PC or me but...

I've got MSN right now... I think I'll go for IRC (had that one years ago) and Yahoo. Let's see what happens! LOL

Yahoo is still the best think ,its has genaral chat rooms , more fetures , better voice quality ,and runs on low speed net conections with out a problem. Hey lyte , you ve forgotten the Skype its the best voice chat software ever made. and i think googletalk is also getting better.
