IRC programs

What does everyone use for IRC programs? I currently use mIRC, but I think there are other programs out there also.

I use Trillian for IRC, because it's already installed and running for AIM and MSN.

Yeah, I also use mIRC for chat programs. It is plain, but nice and easy to work around in.

hmm.. mIRC is mostly used. But there are some other programs like vIRC, bIRC and many more.

but one thing, in mIRC you have a built in identd server running for responding in identd requests [ which is necesary in most of the network specially networks like dal.net , efnet and so no.]

But i m not sure abt other programs. You may need separate stand alone identd server for those clients.

X-Chat is the best, it's available for windows as well.

BUT...if you're into downloading stuff and have windows then use mIRC with the Autoget script.

Send a message via ICQ to MarkSpacey
I don't often use IRC, but i like it in Miranda IM, because it can work with other protocols at the same time, and has many useful plugins.

Yeah Miranda is not really IRC

I do use MIRC but hardly use it anymore, it seems most of the channels I used to visit no longer exist!

All I ever used was mIRC but I seldom have time for that anymore.
I seem to recall another one called Pirch, but I could be mistaken...
