Media Player Question

Ok a few weeks ago before doing a reinstall, i somehow had Windows Media Player showing a small window when I was browsing the net or had the WMP window minimised.
I have no idea how this happened, but basically i could watch videos whilst surfing the net via a small "preview" window at the bottom of the screen.
For the life of me now i can not get this to happen again.

Does anyone know what Im talking about, and how i can make this feature happen again?

Ive tried using both WMP 10 and the new 11 beta.
Last time it seemed to show this small window once i minimised WMP but now it does nothing and i see no option for this.

Any help appreciated!

Is there any reason why you'd want to be using windows media player? Rather than any of the other (far superior) media players out there?

Try Fusion Media Player or Winamp....

I think from what you're trying to describe, Winamp does that, the video plays in a seperate window which can be dragged around, resized, stuck on top and anything else you want. It also has greater file type support and uses less system resources.
