Question Outlook Express Signature

Hi Will,
I need to see if you can help me with one more item.
I have outlook expree and it contains a signature
line.
My problem is that I want to add an html gif in my signature.

So far I have tried to upload the gif sig into photobucket,
then I transfer the URL line into my signature line, But I get NO
blinking grafic signature. Which is what I am wanting to do.

I know that I will only see the URL, but anyone who receives an email from me will see the blinking graphic. Have run numorus tests to a friend without ever getting a graphic. She does this for all in our business. She even sent it URL to me and I just needed to cut/past in sig line. That didn't work either. It gif info is below. Maybe I just can't do this in outlook express.

Hope you can help again ) Thank you for your previous helpfulness Will.

First you need to create the HTML signature, then you need to add it to Outlook Express.

The HTML signature file should look something like this:
Code:
<img src="http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g176/dking1612/post-10-1079718762.gif">
To add the HTML signature file to Outlook Express:
  1. Open the <Tools> menu
  2. Click <Options>
  3. Click the <Signatures> tab
  4. Click <New>
  5. Click <File>
  6. Browse to locate your HTML file

html signature

Hello Will,
Thank you for the proper HTML Code.
I spent some time looking through help to see how to make and save an HTML. I was un-succssesful. I just don't know how. I tried to past your ( the correct HTML) into my sig line following you instructions, but it continued to say there was no such thing. I mean I do know How to write tags on my own..I am in an online class for web development. I'm frustrated with myself that I cant just figure it out. Could you please give me a step by step for make and save an html. I have OT express 6 and I do not have the HTML Help Worksop. I understood everything else....Thanks ....Debi

To make and save an HTML, just open Microsoft Notepad and paste the HTML code I pasted above into it. Then, save that file with an .html extension.

What is the exact error message that you are receiving?
