problem in adobe flash player

yesterday I have downloaded some video file from youtube. I mean as you know normally they dont support download , but I have to do that by doing some googling, installing extension for firefo and then add some script. Whateve the problem comes next !

The downloaded file has no extension. But it has a pretty big size almost 16 MB. and I have done what is told on that site [ i mean how to download] . Everything is ok but the file is without any extension. Now , I knew youtube videos required Adobe Flash Player. So I went to adobe site and download flash player. Not If I double click that extension less video file it tells me to choose he application with which I want to play that file and in that list I cant find adobe flash player.Even Though I found adobe flash player name in add/remove program list but cant find any installed directory for that purpose not even under the common directory of adobe in C:\Program Files where my Photoshop and acrobat reader is placed !

So I am nowhere ! I cant play that file . Even If I play that file with browser [like I played swf files] , theres no response. Any tricks how I can start or play adobe flash player ?

Thanx in Advance

regards

It seems to me that if you rename the files to have a .swf extension, they should play automatically by just double-clicking on the files from within Windows Explorer. No?

Ah.... I am so lazy ! My bad ! Only after a 1 min googling , I can find out the solution. Its very easy.

For who faced and will face this problem, the solution is -->>

1. change the file extension [ better to say add an extension] to .flv .

2. Download FLV player or VLC player and use that to play that file !

Enjoy !

Awesome! I'm glad to hear that you got it sorted out.
