"There are no manuals currently available for this model."
That's not very nice!
With that option dead, our next destination is
Vaio Link.
After searching the Vaio Link web site, we finally find this page:
I have forgotten my Power On Password. What can I do it?
Unfortunately, it only gives us this advice: "Please call VAIO Link for assistance."
But of course, that screen takes us to a menu which requires us to enter our country and Argentina is not on the list.
For Vaio support in Argentina, you have to go to
Sony Support for Latin America.
This site tells us that we can either use the
contact form or call 011-6770-7669.
This is all fairly shoddy customer care. I do not recommend Sony notebooks.
