pilot symbols in wimax

hi all,
does anybody can tell me what kind of code that used as a pilot symbols in mobile wimax (802.16e)?

The code differs on the downlink and the uplink:
Code:
Downlink: 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1
  Uplink: 1 0 1 0 1 0 1 0 1 0 1
These binary sequences are then inserted as a subcarrier.

name of pilot symbol

I mean, the name of the code that used as a pilot symbols in mobile wimax (802.16e). Not the sequences...
what i'm looking for such as gold code, PN code, or kasimi code.is it one of this three code that i mentioned used in mobile wimax as a pilot symbols?or maybe mobile wimax use another code?can you tell me?
I have problem to figure it out.

walsh code used in wimax

hi there...
can i use walsh code as a pilot symbol in wimax?or maybe you have another suggestion?
I want to use this code as a symbol that estimate the channel in wimax.

I am more than a bit confused. If you change the pilot code in WiMAX, you are not longer WiMAX compatible -- you've invented your own standard. And you'll need your new protocol to be supported by both ends of the wireless link.

If you want to test the throughput of the wireless link, you may be best off by just putting ordinary data through the link and then measuring the performance -- much like how DSLReports.com works.

so confused

I used the walsh code because the standard pilot code in wimax has not been named yet.so i make a conclusion that if i use another code that are orthogonal to each other it's ok. can you give me an advice how can i implemented the mobile wimax using the appropriate standard?(in this case the pilot symbols)

the concept

Hi Jeff...
thank you so much for your attention. I will tell you my final project plan.
I want to make an implementation of smart antenna using eigenbeamforming algorithm. this smart antenna system is implemented in DSP TMS320c6713. the communication platform that i used is 802.16e. because of that i have to used the parameter which has been standarize in 802.16e. the pilot symbol used to estimate the channel. the result of this channel estimation used by eigenbeamforming algorithm to find the weight vector for each antenna elements.
I think that is a slide about my plan...i hope you can help me...

A functional block diagram of which aspect of mobile WiMAX? There are lots of functional diagreams documenting different aspects. Which one are you having difficulty finding?

Have you seen Channel Estimation Equalization for Mobile WiMAX Basestations?

They seem to be working on the same problems are you are -- and they have published their formulas along with excellent supporting documentation.
