I just moved from Iowa to Pennsylvania and changed my ISP from to Comcast. I am trying to find out why I can't get my U S Robotics wireless router to work. It worked fine before but not now. I reset it and the modem a couple of times but nothing worked.
Try calling Comcast Tech Support......I not too familiar with U S Robotics per say, but some where there should be a "Reset" & "Search" buttons. I have to do this my "wired" system.

Most routers have a management software protocal built into them that you have to access through a browser window directly by typing the IP address of the Router. From there, you can access the utility and reset many or most of the setting and fix your problem.
I have a friend that works for Comcast setting up modems for customers. I can call him and ask him what your router's IP will most likelky be. Just need the make/model of the router.
Well i was gonna say maybe you had the router set up as a static IP specific to your old ISP, but if you reset the router multiple times then i don't think it should still be there, if that were the case.
My guess is the same as GoPC's. I did some looking and saw that US Robotics routers (atleast the ones i saw) have a default gateway of '192.168.1.1' so try typing that into your browser. If that doesnt work then also try 192.168.0.1. These are probably the two most popular default gateways for wireless routers.
