**** Fly Eating Contest ****
Let's have a FLY EATING CONTEST in the PC101 arcade! :eek:

There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners!

1st place wins $15 USD
2nd place wins $10 USD
3rd place wins $5 USD

Payments will be made via PAYPAL.

The contest begins NOW and will run until Monday the 13th at Midnight, Central time. This will give you time to practice! :p

So, whoever has high score according to the arcade when I look at it on midnight the 13th... WINS!

Hey firestorm,

Good question!

Since the arcade records every attempt, it's possible someone could end up in the top three positions. However, I think it would be more fun and fair if we awarded the prizes to the top three different players. I think that would be equitable for everyone.

Howdy!

Ya know.. I don't recall ever seeing a tie on any of the games! The arcade does calculate fractions of seconds but it only displays the seconds in whole numbers. That's why it may appear as though two people have the same quantity and time. I'll double check this!

If we can determine that a tie occured both in quantity of flies eaten (ick!) and time then each player will receive equal reward based on their finish. So, if there are two 1st place winners each will receive $15 USD.

I don't think that it is based on time although I might be wrong. Looked to me like it was just in order of date. If you played infront of me and I got your score, I would be ahead of you.
