So, I'm off to meet with a NEW client (in Dallas) this week and thrice we had to cancel our meeting because of the weather! We are on a very tight schedule and we've now fallen three days behind. This is not a good way to get things off the ground!
Anyone else suffering from this "artic blast?"

I am not enjoying it, but I am not suffering, sorry to hear about that, that really has to suck, I hate being behind in work.

We had an ice storm here in Missouri.. there were 14,000 locally without electric and it's still not on for most. I lost my cable/internet for a couple days but otherwise haven't had too much to complain about. While it's bad for alot, I've been in worse.

Snow fell on the palm trees of West Los Angeles and Malibu Wednesday afternoon as Jack Frost visited the Southland again. NBC4 forecaster Fritz Coleman said the mixture of precipitation in West Los Angeles at about 3 p.m. included a dusting of snow. Residents in West Los Angeles said the snow accumulated in parking lots, on cars and around palm trees near Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards and other areas. -NBC

Dave, you may be right! I was talking to a gal here in Dallas who said years ago it wasn't nearly as humid in the summer time. Great, TX is getting hotter and California's getting colder!
