The Online Books Page at the University of Pennsylvania is very good.

You might also like the Internet Public Library.

And, of course, we cannot forget Project Gutenberg, where many of these online editions are created.

I used Project Gutenberg to read one of my summer reading assigned books. But, you should be able to look search up "your book's title e-book" and find some e-books. The top results usually require payment, but keep searching until you can find a free e-book source.

I agree UPenn is good. But if you just do a goole search for free books online you'll get lots of other results.

Books online

I agree. A google search would probably yield you at least 100 or more hits from which to search. Almost all universities have an online book library. You could check at some of the more intellectual universities like Harvard and Yale. Good luck!
