Wow! I'm #1 Already!
Well, here's one advantage of using the .info extension.. I just placed a site on my www.portablemp3players.info domain a bit less than a week now (Dec 21) and it's already showing at #1 position on MSN for "portable mp3 players info" (portable mp3 players resources too!)... not bad, I'd say!

good job
sounds like you have the seo 1-2-3's down pat. it can be basic, and people are always hesitant to take the long shot on the.info extension. Bravo!

Well, I think it was luck and not skill on my part, lol! As for .info's, I own many.. I never gave into the temptation to reg them tho if they weren't relevant so that helps!

Sorry if I sound like a newbie to this, mainly because I am, I don't understand how a .info domain can actually help you get to higher ranks in the search engines. Could someone explain. Thanks in advance.

Because many people will enter "info" into their search phrase, like "dog crates info" or "animated film info", etc. So the .info extension helps in this kind of instance.

yes, I've checked them and haven't seen similar results.. seems MSN is the only one I'm #1 at.
