Another Free Spyware Removal Tool

I just downloaded, installed, and executed the free version of X-Block.

It looks like another good tool for spyware removal, in addition to Spybot Search & Destroy and AdAware.

The Cleaning tab is very nice, as it lets you pick and choose from an enormous menu of items which you would like to remove from your PC. You can individually select all sorts of caches, cookies, and file histories.

The Inoculate tab looks powerful, but only works in the Deluxe Edition.

The marketing focus on this free edition is much stronger than that on AdAware's free edition. But, if you can ignore the constant buy buy buy messages, this looks to be a useful third tool the free spyware scanner space.

Thank you very much for this Will. I see 1,052 views and no reply? Atleast thank this man for spending his time to recommend this for you, he needs recognition for his good doings.

Thanks for the kudos.

What I hope to do is to grow this forum to the point where it attracts people who both ask and answer questions.

I would like to make this forum a leading place for people to go to discuss technology.

We're off to a good start, but there is one heck of a lot of work still left to do.

Im going to download and try this tool now.

I will post my results here.

That's a cool idea!

But what if you are spyware free?

I don't like nag screens  I have free tools to prevent pop ups. I dont like free tools that give you pop ups, what's up with the pop ups.

Hmm buy$ buy$ buy$ that would make me say bye bye, thats my opinion for what it's worth$
Oh well it's up to the end user.

If you don't like to be nagged, just buy the software.

But seriously, Spybot Search & Destroy is nag free. AdAware has nags too, but not as bad as X-Block.
