Cheap Anti Viruses

Hello everyone

I was just wondering if someone could help me. I'm looking for a cheap anti-virus for my computer. I know that there is Norton and McAffee but unfortunately I don't have the budget to pay for this.

Ya can't get cheaper than free...

AVG's anti virus software.

and

AVASTs anit virus software.

Let us know if you use either and how it goes!

I would strongly recommend that you actually pay for a professional anti-virus. It is very important otherwise your computer can easily become useless. Also you never know what your getting with free software.

Just to follow this up, I took Julie's advice and ended up buying Norton Internet Security, which I am very happy with, thank you both for your advice. I would recommend Norton to anyone by the way.

I don't think any anti-virus program is 100% effective.. I have Norton's and actually disable it most of the time...
