If you want to purchase one good Adware/Spyware/antivirus software I have found Mcafee, and Spy Sweeper to have the most success for me. Mcafee is a bit of a thicker program so it'll use more system resources, but Spy Sweeper w/Antivirus is thinner and does a great job. I am using Spy Sweeper now and for $39.99 you can buy it offline and the license is good for up to 3 computers. Go to the Webroot website to buy the buy and download it cheaper than going to a store like Best Buy or Circuit City. They update their dat files the most frequently out of the others software products. Let me know if this helps.

If you have any Windows XP or Vista issues feel free to send me a Private message or an E-mail me directly. I have above average knowledge and experience with primarily Windows XP or Vista issues. If I don't off hand know the answer I will research it to further my competency in the program.

If you want a free spywares removals(which are much better than costlier one) you can use following links:
AVG Free Advisor - AVG Anti-Spyware Free Edition

http://http://downloads.pcworld.com/...spybotsd14.exe

I personally use both the applications for my computers security and I will recommend you to go for these softwares only.I hope your problem will get solved

You need to update "avg" software to avoid new, weired spywares from your machine!

If you still want to go for big antivirus softwares then you can use any of norton or mcafee antiviruses.(These antiviruses will slows down your PC )
