Question - Your Favorite AntiVirus

What is your favorite anti virus software? Mine is kaspersky. It doesn't take up a lot of resources, and it finds things that Norton & McAfee miss.

Hey Red!

Currently I'm using Avast. I tried Commodo but DANG with all the pop ups, warnings and it really slowed down my computer. It lasted all of 48 hours.

I use NOD32. I have been for several years without incident.

I use Symantec Corporate Ed., you can config it to go as deep as you want, and it's not the resource hog Norton AV is.

It has never let me down.

the only problem with symantec corp is they only update definitions once week, on fridays. I found that it missed things not only on my computer, but on many of my friends and families computers. I prefer AV that updates daily. The one I use updates sometimes two to three times in one day.

I really like to use Kaspersky, because it is updated almost weekly -- or monthly. Unfortunantely, the price per month is too expensive for my taste. Thus, I now use NOD32. Sure, it doesn't update as much. However, it still gets the job done. I normally don't get viruses/trojans anyway.

NOD 32 is best of 2008 as it is light weight(does not take more cpu/mem resources) and detects/cleans latest spywares/trojoans.

Problem is that in many cases it deleted the virus but not able to restore the setting to original if it's changed by the virus. I had to edit registry to do that.

I just prefer with nod32 antivirus. I already use this one since 2 years ago. Its good and i really like it. For me, this one is the best. If some of you use free version antivirus, change to pro or advance version.

I've been using kaspersky anti virus and webroot spy sweeper. A little pricey but none the less there great programs if you're looking to keep your computer virus free. Kapersky is definitely worth it though, I haven't had any issues as of yet.

We would never use any product from Norton or Symantec We would use the ZoneAlarm Suite, or even possibly one of the free scanners online

my favorite anti virus was AVG because it helps me a lot in detecting viruses because before i tried that someone took my money and its because of the virus that i get, i also like avg because its a friendly user and its very easy to use compare with other anti virus.

My Favourite Antivirus is Symantec. Not to heavy to load and have a lot of removal tools for the Big Virus.
