What operating system are you using ( Windows 98, 2000, XP ) ?
Do you have any anti-virus software installed on your PC ?
Any spyware software ?
A little more info can be helpful to us at PC101.

Good, no virus ! Now I would down-load some spyware (1 or 2 can't hurt).
Here's the 2 that most people use:
Spybot - Search & Destroy: http://spywarebot.com/
Ad-Aware SE Personal: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/...e_personal.php
Try and run one or both of these and see what you have on both your pendrive & PC.

Lyte | Hey Lyte,
Just a suggestion.... I would let the member who started the thread, mark their thread as solved !! If not marked in a reasonable time, give them a warning. I'm sure you have enough to do without going through all the threads. Or, maybe a "Mod" could be used since we have so many members ??

Rep Power: 0 | Use HJT (HiJack This) to end the suspicious program. Plug in your pendrive. Running HiJack This, remove unnecessary file load on your computer then try format back you pendrive. |

This thread started 02-27-2007 and also has been solved, but it's nice you are so eager to help. I am sure if you keep looking you will find a problem that's current.
