Hello: Everyone
For my protection against the dark side of the superhighway in preventing malware, crapware, spywareware and anything else that comes to mind that would and will infest the computer and wreak havoc on it all is not lost, there are programs that will help in the fight against these pushers and put them back in the holes that they oozed out of.
These tools that you see here are only an opinion of what I think are important in the prevention of the darkside. Most of these are Free for Home use and can be upgraded when new versions come out, however one of the most important issues that cannot be stressed enough is that you should
always! I say always!!! check for Updates and Patches on all programs like Windows, IE, and below as they become available on the web. Enough said now down to buisness.
Lets begin here:

IE-SPYAD adds a long list of sites and domains associated with known advertisers, marketers, and crapware pushers to the Restricted sites zone of Internet Explorer. Once you merge this list of sites and domains into the Registry, the web sites for these companies will not be able to use
cookies, ActiveX controls, Java applets, or scripting to compromise your privacy or your PC while you surf the Net. Nor will they be able to use your browser to push unwanted pop-ups, cookies, or auto-installing programs on your PC.
HijackThis Download: HJT Special Note: It is advised to have a Spyware Warrior help you when using HJT, at any reputable Help Forums like this one you will find them.
Windows Defender:
Beta Version just out replaces giant anti spyware.
Windows Defender I recommend reading Tony Klein's How did I get infected in the first place
This list will be Updated from time to time.
Hope this helps someone.
