Anyone play MMO's?

Anyone play MMO's like Everquest, World of Warcraft, Planetside? I feel that there's saturation problem. There are far less people in each game because there are too many MMO's. So you have instances where there are no players around.

Anyone agree with me?

I've played some! Last year, I played Final Fantasy XI, World of Warcraft, and Guild Wars. They were pretty fun, but expensive and addicting. Plus, I'm not a fan of "grinding", I prefer an ambiet world with people to communicate with. XD I quit FFXI because I was being sexually harassed all the time...and what's worse, by very, very obviously underage boys. Yick. The years before I've played lots of others like Everquest, A Tale in the Desert, Dark Age of Camelot...

To me, it always seemed like there were enough people. But I haven't played any in a year. I've been thinking about playing the game "Second Life".

Rosetta,

You know what's funny. I played a female character on Everquest just for the hell of it for one week. I got hit on by guys from all over the place. I'm a guy and it was annoying me.

I can understand where you're coming from..lol.

Oh, I totally got into W.o.W but found that without others to quest with it was pretty much the same ol' same ol'. You go over there, kill something and come back. Then go over here, kill something and come back. Yeah, I tried the clan thang but the one I started out with was kinda slow.

I'm too busy now to play, which is a bummer. I'd go find a new clan but I know I'd end up spending hours a day online!

Julian,

You have my sympathies! Some people learn to turn that to their advantage...if you act like you are interested in a guy, you can get free items and money. The price is creepy guys hitting on you. I had some moron virtually stalking me through the game world. The thing is, most females I think are interested in the game itself not in romance. XD

I've played some male characters as well. Some of the things that have happened have been really funny. For example, in The Sims Online, I was rooming with two other guys. When one of them said, "Damn, what this place needs is some chicks" I nearly died laughing.

Lyte, I agree with you. It's the clans and guilds that make up the game. When you have a nice social group to hang out with, it makes the game so much more fun. You can be seriously addicted if you have a group to play with.

To the core, MMO is about the social aspect.

Rosetta, LOL. I knew a lot of girls in real life that played males because they were annoyed by the creeps. You're right, I should've used my girl avatar to my advantage. If I were a hot chick in real life, I'd go to bars and have dumb guys buy me beer. LOL!
