I used to play UO up to 6 hours a day, its really bad. And Ive heard of people dying in front of the computer playing Everquest.. just goes to show these things can get out of hand real fast

Yep. GEnie was an online system that was run mostly at night using spare capacity on the General Electric mainframes.

I tried a few out, but really didn't like them. I think that's because a lot of the ones I found were text based and that just doesn't appeal to me at all. Any suggestions on a MMORPG that has good graphics and isn't too hard on the wallet?

For that, I can only recommend Guild Wars.

Guild Wars is the only MMORPG I know of that has no monthly fee. You just buy the software and then you are allowed to play on the servers.

Here's Guild Wars for $34.98 at Amazon.com.

Yeah I would strongly endorse that too. As a matter of fact, I have all three Guild Wars campaigns.

Guild Wars: Prophecies (the one above)
Guild Wars: Factions
Guild Wars: Nightfall

i play eudemons online, a free, well thought up game. it has decent diablo 2 like graphics and tons of players. did i mention it was free? lol and i know 2 ppl who have been divorced over EverCrack. Everquest is like a giant Black Widow spider. it waits for you in its nest, then when you get there it sucks out your insides and leaves you an empty husk, forever trapped in its web.
