My brother really likes it. He has only had Battlefield 2 for a few weeks, before he had a free trial of it. You may want to use the trial of it till you get it. It does take a good computer to run it with a good memory, sound card and graphic card.

No, there is no monthly fee to play against others. To save you sometime, if you buy it in a store it will be $49.99. I think they had it on sale for a few dollars less on Black Friday(day after Thanksgiving) but around Christmas I did not see any sales on it. Ebay has them for around $35 as of a few weeks ago. If you buy used, you need to make sure that it has not been baned by any servers(where you play the game with others).
