Blitz The League is probably the best football game ever. First of all, it has a storyline (it's decent), and it is not restricted by the NFL license.

There are so many great features to it. First, there is a move called "Dirty Hits", where you do awesome moves to take down your opponent. Second, there are steroids. You use them to improve your players and also to heal them faster when they get injured. Speaking of injuries, whenever somebody gets injured (frequently) it goes into X-Ray and shows the bone snapping. Another funny thing is that you can buy training equipment to help the players, and the tires cost like $128,000. Heh heh.

If you have an Xbox, rent this game! You will probably want to buy it after just a few minutes of playing. I'm going to buy it soon, I just need to get a little more money.
