How about this question maybe it will be useful.

My wireless game adaptor is not getting me online for some reason.

Possibilities: The AC adaptor cord is not plugged in from the game adaptor to the wall.
You put the end of the cord in the wrong connection slot.
You have not installed the network adaptor right.
Your electricity slot does not have enough volts.
You did not fill in your FULL information (including E-mail and password to e-mail)
If you are using Playstation network adaptor and you enter an MSN e-mail make sure before you type in the e-mail you put MSN/.
Check your ISP information for the game.
Test your connection when you setting up the settings.
Any further problems and you need to return the adaptor.
