Offline or online?

Do you enjoy playing games online or offline via a CD or through hard drive?

I have to play offline games becasue i dont have a dsl or broadband connection otherwise it would be real fun to play against real enemies!

i prefer online and like the game to be on my hd, it doesn't really matter 2 me, but if I have plenty of space on the hd, thats where it is goin.

You're right... it's much more exciting to know you've just whacked a "real" person. I can imagine someone sitting in computer going...

I like having them on my HDD. Hate those games using the CD-Rom unit since I have a laptop and I cannot change it that easy, not to mention it would cost some. I try to keep it "new" for as long as I possibly can.

I love playing online, but there are a few problems. First, my connection isn't fast enough right now; and second, games that require a monthly fee are usually ones that force you to "grind" in an effort to keep you paying for longer (I was tricked by a few MMORPG's in this way).

I'd much rather play with/against people, though!
