Are you a cheating little ######?

Are you a cheating little punk?

What I am asking in my best 1980's street talk is do you use cheatcodes in games? If so what are your principles regarding the matter?

As an owner of a cheating website I am always interested in what general games consider appropriate and innapropirate cheating.

My husband uses cheat codes for his PS2. He only uses them when he gets stuck for a long time. Personally I think if I can not finish the game on my own I should not finish it. I do not use them, but if people want to use them go right ahead.

Oh... okay... "cheating" on a console game isn't bad! lol Heck, I used that dang Game Genie when I had a Sega.

I thought he was talking about cheating on games against other players!! Doing that's naughty!

Cheat codes are no big deal on console games. Who cares if you skip a level? IMO

When I was a bit younger I would always be using cheats to help me finish the game, these days I will just keep trying to finish the game myself, I don't feel like i've accomplished something otherwise.

However I do use Cheats on GTA when I have finished the game because some of the cheats are great fun, such as the flying car, etc.

I've rarely resorted to using cheats.. I'd be more likely to use a game map to find my way out of a room or whatever than a cheat to add unlimited money or lives..

I agree with dgridley, i don't like cheating, it's just pointless having the games otherwise! I would use a map which was also suggested, because I wouldn't personally say it was cheating. As Greenroom said I would probably also play around with cheats after completing some games because some of them are quite good fun to use.
