Your favorite game?!

Another poll here, so everyone can vote for their favorite types of games. Yes, I mean types of games.

I like strategy games, including war based or non-war based, from the long time Starcraft, Age of Empires, SimCity, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Red Alert, Generals and Civilization. You can manage everything in these games as you like, build whenever or anywhere, create any desirable units and fight enemies in any strategy.

I like almost all kinds of games except that AOE etc.

online RPG's or MMORPG's , war-based strategy games (AoE and Civilization series)
non war-based strategy games (SimCity and RCT)
FPS games (doom, half-life and so on) online/multiplayer FPS games
racing games (Need For Speed series)
sports games (FIFA, NBA)

I like alot of shooting games, don't need to be first person shooter games, can be whatever games but with guns and that is the most fun I think, I also like some RPGs..

i love Need for speed type of games along with Age of Empires ... i can play Need for speed and AOE for a day and not get tired ... thats how cool these games are

I voted First Person shooters although I love any type of game I generally play FPS' more than others: My favourite being Half Life 2 and 007 Goldeneye (Nintendo 64 days). Recently got Black aswell - pretty good game.

First Person Shooters (FPS) are at the top of my list! Especially if I can play online against others and snipe them. Hee!

My favies are Medal of Honor, Call of Duty and I'm about to buy Battlefield 2.

I am a fan of strategy games and mostly RPG (for some years now). This is the type of games I love. I like getting more points and increasing levels. it's nice having a weak character and then making it better throughout the game

i like to play RPG & Racing games.
my most fav game is Need For Speed Underground 2.

i really like racing games, they are what i am best at, although i am just getting into call of duty for pc, which seems to be a good game so far

I played both Battlefield Vietnam and Battlefield II. Somehow, I don't like Battlefield games. Especially when you're playing alone. I know their graphics are incredible, but when it comes to multiplayer, all players seemed to play for themselves... they don't really cooperate at all.

I voted for a lot! But I like Simulation games and non-War based strategy best. I think I like building things!

My favorite though, are hybrid games that blend genres.

i will go for gta-san andreas. the best game i played. amaizingly before this game, it was gta-vc. i just love all gta games.

I'll have to agree with you, it is an amazingly fun game series. I find myself jacking cars, turning up the radio, and cruising around the game world. (not really a fan of violence...wait, why am I playing GTA then???) Some would argue that you could do that in real life, but not with a train or a bus, so there! Plus, it saves on gas.
