DNS are not working ...

I have a couple of domains registered with register.com; it seems that their DNS are not working as they should because I cannot access domains registered with register.com, while I can access domains registered with GoDaddy. I do not want to deal with this problem again in the future. This isn't caused by me, but this is caused by register.com (right?). What do I need to do in order for me to not have this problem again in the future?

I'm unclear... are you not able to get into your account? Are they denying you access to your domains? Do you get an error message or something??

I don't know for sure if I have an account with them... lemme check.

They were totally inaccessible. If I "ping", I got no response as if my domains registered with register.com never existed. The problem has been resolved now, but I need to make a change or two to address this. I don't want this to happen in the future. What can I do ...?
