I just thought that i'd mention this because I found it quite interesting. Many of you will probably know googlemail by the name gmail, which is google's webmail program that is currently in beta. Anyway gmail have been forced to change there name to googlemail in the UK because of another UK company with the same name. I thought that this was really strange because it isn't very often that bigger companies are out done by the smaller ones. I'm surprised that google didn't pay the other company so they could use the name.

Anyway anyone in the uk waiting to get a gmail account has to have @googlemail.co.uk instead of gmail.com. I'm just glad I got mine before the change, I would have hated to have googlemail.co.uk

That is interesting. I'm a little curious if there was any debate about Ghiradelli Chocolate's "G-Mail." I have a feeling they came first so Google wasn't going to mess with them.
