I mean For free or paid ..
For me I prefer every free thing .. not because I am greedy or do not want to pay 3 USD$
However I have no Credit card and cannot have a PayPal account because of my location, so I have no choice rather than this !! (FREE HOSTING is my choice) |

Lord know I love anything FREE! LOL :p But I find the free hosting usually means ads... ads... ads...  Plus, since I've started this forum I discovered how much space a forum stakes up. Phew!

Rep Power: 3 | I have 1 gig of ads free hosting that I got from a dude on namepros. It is a fairly fast server and best of all free  . Check out the site by the link in my sig if u want.

You are understimating Free Hosting .. I know lot of places that gives alot of space free of ads and free of money .. sometimes for posting and sometimes for another things and sometimes fornothing .. (it serems for nothing)
Such as AHB Host ..

Rep Power: 0 | I host my sites and I pay for this. I would like being able to host them on my own server, but it would take a lot of work and money. I am not yet prepared to meet all these expenses, so I rely on someone else to host my projects.

As for free hosts, mine is great. Just back up everything once a week or so(I don't do too much throughout the week.).

Rep Power: 2 | I rent a dedicated server. I have a fair number of sites now, so it's easier for me to just rent a dedicated server and host all my sites there. One of my sites is written in Java/JSP, so it definitely makes my life easier, if I just rent a dedicated server.

I have roughly 8 forums, and a few more content sites. One of my forums tends to grow big enough to require a file/db server setup, although things have slowed there some. One forum hosts all my other sites, and I just got a new server today to try something out on. They are all hosted at the same spot.

I use dedicated server (one) for my web site. I helps if you know the President of the sever company !!
Edit: Some how all my psot for this got screwed up eariler. I even have "Spell Check (I-Spell on IE). I haven't a clue on how this happened......maybe a hack has accoured here.....Lyte ??
