Rep Power: 0 | Online file hosting logging me out.. Iam currently getting this problem..was wondering if anyone could help me out.
Iam using gigasize to uploading 200MB files. I have used both Firefox and IE and it gets the same problem, prior to this it never happened. What happened is that when i log into my account in gigasize..i start uploading the 200MB files..after say 2-3hrs its done BUT when the page refreshes it somehow logs me out and as a result logging me out, it uploads the file to the 'free' section, instead of the file to my folder in my account. I have tried uploading 3-4 times now..getting same result..tried unplugging modem, virus scan etc. No result. What's worst is that their customer support NEVER EVER replies (been waiting for month for a reply) However, when i uplaod a 2Mb file it has no problem..
I think this has something to do with cook ie but my cookeis are al lstored so i dont think thats the problem
Does anyone know any solution? |

Rep Power: 5 | When you login to Gigasize, check the "Remember Me" button and it should stop forgetting who you are between the time that you start an upload and the time that the upload finishes. |

Rep Power: 5 | The other thing that springs to mind is saving the username and password in your web browser when you enter them.
Are you already doing that? |

Rep Power: 5 | When you go to the Gigasize web site and login, you should click the "Remember me" button.
But also, Internet Explorer (or whatever web browser you are using) will pop up a dialog box that says "Do you want Windows to remember this password, so that you don't have to type it in again the next time you visit this page?" In that dialog box, click the <Yes> button.
Those two things are all you can do to keep being logged out from session timeouts. |

Rep Power: 5 | That's not a problem, that's the solution.
Except in Firefox, the dialog box reads: Password Manager can remember this login and enter it automatically the next time you return to this web site.
Would you like Password Manager to remember this login? When you see this dialog box, you should click the Yes button. |
