Thoughts on the new IE7?

Anyone tried out the new IE7? I have been putting off installing it but am curious how it is.

Not tried it and never going to unless I happen to need to use the net somewhere that has it.

Nothing can be better than Opera

Somtimes you just need IE for web sites that don't work at all in Opera or Firefox.

Yes I've been using it for a while now.
Im not keen on it. The buttons are difficult to navigate, ie they aren't in the spots they used to be in and they are much smaller and less intuitive.
Tabbed browsing is ok, however its nowhere near as good as Firefox's.

Hi.
I just Downloaded it the other day I think its great so far, I have used IE for the Internet for a few years now and its great to keep browsers updated with some new sleek designs, I know some prefer alternative browsers because of security reasons in IE, but I keep on eye on what I am doing and have my proper safe guards in place and yet to this day have had no problems. Well as far as IE7 I will wait and see, one thing that I like is the Tab Browser which is is like the Fire Fox Tab browser, wonder where MS got that idea from (he he). Well all for now.

Has anyone tried any IE7 extensions or "add-ons"?
There's options for add-ons, but I dont know if there are any available yet?

The idea of extensions/add-ons are what can make a browser insecure, if the program has functionality to install something into it then that can be exploited by spyware and malware.

Thumbs up

Hi Bilz
You might have already gone here:

http://www.ieaddons.com/default.aspx?cid=home&scid=0

http://www.ieaddons.com/default.aspx?cid=1&scid=60

But you can do a search for add-ons some are free some cost money take your pick, SpywareBlaster is a good add on and in IE 7 and with the Tools Button you can mange all your Add-Ons as well, if you don't like IE7 just Uninstall from the Add Remove programs in Control Panel and you will revert back to IE6, I promise it wont hurt a bit.
