I know that sounds odd to some of you, but does anyone know of a place to get started.
Not nessasarly my own browser, but somewhere I can create my own browser bar plugin, like alexa or something close to that? I have been looking, but most of the stuff I am finding is not business oriented, its more personal use stuff.
Maybe I am just a crazy nut :eek: :rolleyes:

Rep Power: 3 | I want to make something similar to those ad based click to earn things, but not quite the same. I want to be able to put my companys logo on it, and then sell simple little ad space to a couple other companys, small ads, that can only be turned off, if you view them twice, that way everyone who uses it sees them twice, then never again.
I am talking right now on IM with a programer to make an actuall browser, so lets see how that goes, I will also update you on my idea and why I want to do it.

It would require atleast 3-5 programers working full time, I would also probably want to be a much bigger company than I am now to back all this.
I basicly wanted to make an OS browser plug, one that would attach to any browser you used on your system, meaning this would have to be coded for all browsers, and possibly make my own. This would have been to show ads, advertise, only things relevent to there history cache. would have been a cool thing, could have made a little money, but would take way to much to get it off the ground. a much larger company could do this but not us small folk, lol.

I had a lil project in mind last year which I managed to get it done ... but only AFTER finding a programer at Guru.com. The gentleman was from overseas... very professional... but also a LOT less expensive than having it done here in the states.
I've only had one project done through Guru.com but I recommend it if you want some feedback on a job, pricing and/or a more varied selection of designers, programmers... whatever!
