Today a lot of young people in their teens (such as myself) tend to be on the computers for the internet much more than for games, this is also very annoying, because parents are always going on about "Get off those games, it will kill your brain" (i know my parents are like that :P) any way, with the new generation of technology, the internet is getting "addictive" to most people....including me, im an internet addict

Well, before the internet it was television! :p

It does seem that a lot of new technology has caused the family to break up a bit. Kids and parents can take off on adventures because we now have cars. No one sits at the dinner table anymore because we have microwaves, frozen food and television. And, the internet seems to have become just one more of many distractions!

I'm not sure if we're "mad" but I'm pretty sure we're not better off.

nope, we are mad lol, i aggree, the dinner table should now bee hung up on a large stake, and burned like our lifes with the distractions :S
