Rep Power: 0 | Article Submission Hi All !!
As we know that writing articles for websites have become more trendy now a days. But certain questions arise in my mind like:
Suppose we are submitting keyword rich articles to article directories or to other website which are providing article submission facilities. Next day those websites where in we had submitted articles are up in Google with our article link. That means in indirect way we are promoting those article websites, right. No doubt this is one of the important way for promoting websites but I would like to ask, isn't there any other way out which help to promote a website? I mean something new..
Regards

Rep Power: 6 | Well, there is not much new in the SEO world. It's still all about content and links.
Article sites have a symbiotic relationship with other web sites. Both parties contribute, and both parties benefit.
If you are opposed to contributing to the success of these article sites, you might look at submitting to these web directories.
I have also written up an extensive list of creative ways to find links at How do I get links to my web page? |

A free link is as good as a paid link -- except it's free.
I never submit to paid directories. |

Rep Power: 3 | Yeah, I feel the very word *free* misleads many, there are many softwares too which are free and are totally great in quality and efficiency. So *free* is not always worthless. |

I like the first one mostly, it brings me more traffic. There are a bunch of smaller ones, but they bring barely any traffic.

I never submit to paid directories. | Really? Thats interesting
So you have good luck submitting to free ones?
The paid ones often have a high PR which is worth paying for, especially if its PR6 and above. |

Rep Power: 3 | Web site Hey, Will, thanks for sharing that. As I mentioned in another post, I'm up to starting my own web site in a few months. All of these tips are just great. I may have to take a peek every few days to see if there's anything new up. Thanks again! |

Rep Power: 3 | Yeah, paid directories are usually never worth it like you said. Their high PR may be "faked". |

Rep Power: 3 | I would never use any directories that require a fee. I'd manually submit to free directories. |

Rep Power: 3 | I think you can get a PR of at least 3 by submitting your site to free directories. |
