Article Submission Software

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could give me some input on a free version of article submission software that has been tried and true?

Thanks,
Susan

I'm not aware of any free article submission software.

I tried a demo of a commercial article submission package a few months ago. It was so buggy that it was almost worse than submitting articles by hand.

Maybe we can convince Krish to code something up for us.

I heard most of them are the same as those search engine submitters. Some of them work, some don't work. A few search engine website submitters will make search engines blacklist your website. I'd be careful about that for article auto submissions. Do you want a list of some good article sites to submit to so you can raise your PR and backlinks?

I have been looking for a list like this for ages, thanks Will.
I wonder if its worth submitting to all of them or just choosing a few?

One of the best ways to get traffic to articles is from search engines. Make sure you have good PR and backlinks. Also, make sure the article has good SEO.

Ooh, useful site. I'm so bad at SEO, so much conflicting information out there.

Whenever you post you article, make sure you have a link back to your own website. Each link counts as a backlink. That means more PR and perhaps a better rank in the search engines.

Also be aware that other people will use your articles on their sites.
This is fine, just keep track and make sure they include the credits to you and your site or else they are stealing.

Directory submission is, in general, a good way to improve the PR of your own site as well as drive traffic. There are many people offering submission to xxx directories across the web, and whilst the majority of these aren't worth the time of day, getting your article on a handful of respectable, high traffic websites will do wonders for your site in terms of PR and backlinks.

It is a good idea to monitor the web for your article(s) to ensure that people are playing ball and leaving your name and/or links in tact. I have sadly come across numerous websites using my work without credit, and whilst the majority of webmasters have added my name/link as required, a handful have reported back to me that they have purchased the article!

Just be careful who you go with, make sure that they are reputable people with a good track record. Software is a bonus as it can save you money in the long run, but the cost of submission is so cheap these days it is often more convenient to pay somebody else to do it for you.

Lately, I have been paying Ajay over at ArticleSubmit $14.99 to hand submit my articles to 60+ web sites.

This saves me a lot of time, which I can then use to write more articles.

First off, that list is AWESOME! Thanks so much Will! If you guys haven't checked it out, you should. As well, it's really nicely put together. Phantom, thanks so much for the link. I too have been looking for something like this as well. I'm gonna give it a shot and see how it works out for me.
