How do you make it so you show a .psd on your website?

without the white stuff (converting it to JPEG and others.)

I use ACDSee to convert graphics. It will do PSD's and JPG's. There is a free trial that you can download.

PhotoShop probably does a better job, but it's clearly more expensive.

Gimp should also do the conversion for you, and it's free.

I meant how do you make it so that if you have it on your website, you won't have the white bg/negative space. Must I just fill it with the pattern i used fro the website or can i display it the way it is as a psd.

I don't think that most web browsers can display PSD files. I think that PNG, JPG, and GIF are the commonly supported graphics formats.

Your graphic will display its background unless the background is set to be transparent.

Read How to Create a Transparent Background in Photoshop.

but when my bg for the psd is transparent and i convert it to a gif, jpeg it becomes a white bg. [edit] alright i changed it to png and it doesn't have bg as white. Thanks Spencer for suggesting png.
