Rep Power: 6  | NEAT auto install scripts
In the past 24 hours I just used TWO of the auto install scripts that come with my cpanl. This is the first time I've used any of the auto install scripts.
One was PHPbb (a friend's site) and the other was Mambo for my What Is FTP?
It was totally cool!! Click...click... click... and you have a site! Well, almost... now I have to customize it. But it's totally cool!

It seems to have more security updates, less proan to hackers, and seems to be less complicated, I get about 1/4th ammount of support questions on joomla than mambo. Also mambo has a harder time with mod_rewrite (many issues with this) and also has issues with register_globals.

Rep Power: 3 | Heard the same thing that Oulzac said on some website forums. I tried mambo and joomla. About the same I guess, but the security made me wanna stick to joomla
