You're right... there IS a whole lotta truth in that pie chart!

I never did get 'round to W3C, or sweat FireFox, or deal with CSS so I guess the "Get it working on IE... " and/or the "Swearing... " slices are much larger in my web design pie.

I'm still messing with the W3C complaincy(taking forever) and the whole firefox/css stuff. I would rather my sites work in FF than IE since it's what I use and feel is better anyways lol .

1. Do a layout skretch using web development tools.
2. Start coding and refer to the common module.
3. Integrate with back-end engine, database and etc (depend on project specification).
4. Color tuning and matching and graphic.
5. Test run on IE and Firefox compatiblilities.
6. Deliver the project or repeat to step 1 for refinement/improvement.

Had never follow the standard life cycle or whatever but the above steps are basically what had been done. I think the jokes are basically meant for non-IT or beginner but once you had experience building your 1st website, the rest should be pretty fast to build.

lol, thats totally true, one thing missed out though is once you get it working in IE, the code is so messy that it won't work in firefox, so you have to start all over again!
