Photoshop CS2

Just picked up a copy of this today, and have been playing with it a little, and I love it, its way better than 7. still getting used to some of the new features, and the moving of some things, but so far it looks cripser, loads faster and performs better it seems.

anyone else use this for graphic design?

I've used ps cs in school for yearbook stuff. I like it pretty good, but still like GIMP better for some reason. I guess the price and just what I started on pointed me that direction.

Replying after firestorm !

I agree .. I like The GIMP also because it is opensource and I like the Idea of opensource ..I also used photoshop 7 for some time and tried photoshop cs2 .. but now I am convinced with Fireworks as a second choice after the GIMP.

GIMP is actually a really good program too, and CS2 actually has less features than GIMP!

I use differant programs on differant systems however, PS on windows, and GIMP on my nix, I know gimp is for windows now too, but I just like it that way, lol.

All references can help me deciding if I really should buy a Photoshop CS2 copy.
Well, now I love using Photoshop 6 and 7 and I think I don't need anything else for designing my graphics, but I heard too many good and bad comments about Photoshop latest version that makes me so curious.

Should I download it first and try before purchasing anything?? or Buy it inmediately?
What do you think guys?

When possible, I always test drive a piece of software before buying... regardless of what anyone says. To most it may be the best thing in the world but I still might not like it!
