Question - PHP Safe Mode
What is PHP safe mode ??

Recently I have found this term while I was installing a software in my web server. That software tells that it would not work with along PHP safe mode.

1) What is this ?

2) How can I check whether my Server has PHP safe mode enabled or disabled ?

3) How can I enable/disable this ?

4) Is there any security threat in disabling this ?
