Website Rotator Service??

A colleague of mine was asking about this type of service. I did a search on Google, not much came up (it is not all that mighty after all ). I am still confused; he had just asked me this morning. Anyone know what a website rotator service is or does? Thanks!

I can tell what they do from a technical standpoint, but I can't see the business reason for using one.

Vendors include www.rotateonline.com and www.PageSwirl.com.

With these services, you publish their URL and they randomly point it to one of your URL's.

Hell, I don't want to publish anyone elses URL's. I want to promote my own URLs.

Gosh, I hope this is not what he is looking for. Just a waste of money, this might as well be called robot traffic. I'll let him know tomorrow. Thanks, Will!
